Thomas J. Casey dies in fatal Concord, Apartment Fire N.H.

Thomas J. Casey, 70, of Manchester, tragically passed away in an apartment fire on Union Street in Concord, New Hampshire, on January 1. Authorities confirmed his death, which was determined to be the result of smoke inhalation, with the manner of death ruled as accidental by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The fire also led to the hospitalization of four other residents, though three have since been discharged. It was noted that the building lacked a sprinkler system, although the fire alarm was fully functional and activated during the incident.

Investigators from the New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office are still working to determine the cause of the fire, but further details have not been released. Thomas J. Casey is mourned by his family, friends, and the community at large as they process this devastating loss.
