Fred W. Tyrell, Fatal Meredith, N.H. house Fire death – Obituary

Fred W. Tyrell, 81, tragically lost his life in a house fire on Old Center Harbor Road in Meredith, New Hampshire, on New Year’s Eve. Authorities confirmed that his death was caused by smoke inhalation, and the state medical examiner has ruled the manner of death as accidental.

Meredith police were initially called to the home at 6:46 p.m. Wednesday for a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers detected smoke and immediately summoned the fire department. Firefighters responded swiftly, extinguishing a small fire in the basement. Unfortunately, Tyrell was found unresponsive on the first floor and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the fire are still under investigation by officials. Tyrell is deeply mourned by his family, friends, and the local community as they cope with this heartbreaking loss.
